They are foldable with the ear cups rotating within their hinges so that they conform to the side of the head much better and also makes storage easy. Most of the controls are found on the right ear cup and the SHB8850NC/27 has a separate play/pause button, track-skipping button and separate volume controls, in addition to a Bluetooth pairing button, NFC and a power button. A 3.5mm cable is also included in the box, which will enable you to use the headphones in passive mode when the battery runs out

Philips claims the SHB8850NC cancels out 97% of ambient noise because of its two microphones. The SHB8850NC has 32mm neodymium closed-back drivers with a bass that is reasonably warm and compliments well with the mids and trebles

The headphones can take up to 16 hours of music playback and charging via a micro-USB port is easy at the top of one of the ear cups. They can be used for hands-free calls and can activate Siri or Google by now using the Bluetooth button with voice commands too.
